Bloom Centres For Early Learning
Our mission is to help children acquire a positive attitude towards school and learning. We achieve this by providing a warm and nurturing learning environment where children can explore and experiment to develop a feeling of self-worth and independence. We are co-learners with the children helping every child become capable, competent and full of potential at all times.
We recognize that when children play in a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment, alongside curious, creative, attentive, caring and respectful teachers, they will flourish in all development areas — social, creative, language, emotional and physical.
As non-denominational, multi-cultural, community-based early learning centres, our staff endeavours to be respectful and sensitive to the values, needs and beliefs of the families we serve.
The Bloom Centres for Early Learning logo is all about connection, discovery, and the magic of blooming through fun and learning! At its heart is a bee — nature’s tiny powerhouse of teamwork and transformation. Just like bees help flowers bloom, the centre nurtures young minds, creating a space where curiosity takes flight, exploration thrives and learning blooms.
The interconnecting circles symbolize the partnership between educators, parents, and children — a dynamic community where collaboration sparks continuous growth and learning. The warm golden hue radiates joy, optimism and encouragement, while the deep green provides a steady foundation of trust and professionalism. It’s a perfect blend of fun and expertise — just like the centre itself!
Licensing
The Ministry of Education (M of Ed), Children’s Services Division, licenses BLOOM centres for early learning under the authority of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. A Program Supervisor from the M of Ed, a Fire Inspector, playground inspector and a Health Inspector from the Regional Health Unit facilitate inspections annually.
The Child Care and Early Years Act establishes minimum standards including physical space, staff qualifications, child to staff ratio, health and safety, nutrition, and basic programming
BLOOM Centres for Early Learning are licensed providers of childcare services, and as such, the fees are an eligible tax credit. Receipts are provided annually in March as requested by parent
